Who We Are

Neuroscientist Ren dropped out of the Ivy League to launch his dream. Jaye, who had her start in multiple punk rock bands in the early to mid 2000s had in turn given up her own music dreams to finish graduate studies in cell & molecular biology and start a sensible career, meeting Ren in the process.  

Their own medicine was music, where they drew inspiration during their darkest times and leaned heavily on their favorite bands and albums to keep them sane.

A question then arose: why, as people launching new technologies, couldn't they do the same for the music and bands that they believed in? From this idea, Sonic Synapse Records™, an independent label, was born, starting the search for new bands to launch into this new era of music and vinyl.
